We proudly celebrate our 11th year this May 2024 with 10 feature films, two short film nights, and the return of our much-loved 48 Hour Film Challenge.

Since the first festival in 2013, we have screened 154 feature-length films and 110 short films to over 18,600 local residents. Come and join us this year as we’re set to raise our total audience numbers to over 20,000.

The Herne Hill Free Film Festival events have been made possible this year by the generous support of Pedder Property, Boki’s Hair, Brothers Green, Half Moon Dental Centre, Herne Hill Sports, Jarr Market and Lowie. The festival’s volunteers are also grateful to all the venues for hosting screenings and our audiences for their kind donations.
