Paddington (Relaxed Screening)
The Herne Hill Free Film Festival is delighted to be bringing you a relaxed* screening of the charming 2015 film Paddington.
A young Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he meets the kindly Brown family, who offer him a temporary haven.
Paddington begins to realise that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kind Brown family, who read the label around his neck “please look after this bear” and offer him a temporary haven in their home. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist. Full of charm, innovation, wit and a fine compliment to the books – this film is a true delight to watch.
* A relaxed screening is suitable for all children and adults alike, but as the film is shown in a reduced light environment with a lower level sound, it is suited to those with special needs and autism spectrum disorders who find the darkness and loud audio of conventional screenings uncomfortable. Children will also be free to wander during the showing and be as comfortable as possible.
Please advise in advance if disabled access is required by sending a message to [email protected]. There is lift access but disabled parking may be limited.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
