Local Short Film Showcase
Since the beginning of the year we have been in touch with filmmakers of all ages, asking them if they would be kind enough to submit to us a short film for a showcase of local talent.
Now as part of the first West Norwood FEAST of 2019 and in partnership with FEAST and Picturehouse we are delighted to announce our local short film event will be taking place in SCREEN 2 of the WN Picturehouse on Sunday 7th April 11.30am.
To start the event off we are showing a rare screening of the archive film set in West Norwood, SUBURBAN WEEKEND by Ronald A Yeatman, a member of the Astral Cine Club who shot several films around the south London borough of Lambeth in the 40s and 50s.
Keeping with the West Norwood theme, local musician Ross Stansfield will be providing a fantastic live piano accompaniment.
To follow that we have an eclectic mix of films to show you from a varied range of film makers. They should all be celebrated for their talents, skills and creativity and we hope you can do this with us at this event.
As with all our events this is a non-ticketed event, so entry will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
