We’re having a public meeting next week in a lovely church hall in Charlton (travel details below) and everyone’s invited. Would you like to screen a film? Do you know of an amazing venue we could use? Would you like to help with advertising? Or do you know how (or would like to learn how) to put up a screen and then connect speakers, a projector and a DVD player together?
Here’s a list of all our previous films, and where we screened them.
All films screened by the Charlton and Woolwich Free Film Festival since 2016
Since 2016 we’ve screened over 70 films including Black Panther, Dean Spanley, They Shall Not Grow Old, Yellow Submarine, Sisters With Transistors, One Cut of the Dead, Do The Right Thing and Free Solo in more than 20 venues including artFix, Tramshed, Charlton Assembly Rooms, St George’s Garrison Church, Royal Artillery Square, Shrewsbury House and quite a few pub gardens.
Google Maps link, venue is near Charlton station
Buses: 380 (closest) and 486.
The actual festival happens in September
This year the Charlton and Woolwich Free Film Festival will run from Friday 8th to Saturday 16th September 2023 in various venues (yet to be determined) in SE7 and SE18.
