West Side Story
Come see the 1961 iconic American musical ‘West Side Story’ – taking the tragic Romeo and Juliet love story and setting it amongst the tension of the New York gang scene.
‘West Side Story’ is packed with finger snapping hustle and grit, backed by an emotive soundtrack from Leonard Bernstein, as the Sharks and the Jets go head-to-head for control of the streets catching two young lovers in the middle of their turf war.
Tables will be set out ‘cabaret style’ seating four to a table with food, drink and themed cocktails on sale throughout the night. And with prizes on offer for the best Sharks and Jets outfits it’s time to dust off your baseball jackets, capri pants and fifties garbs and get ready for ‘The Rumble’!
The venue requires that places are booked in advance with a £5 fee however this is returned in the form of a bar voucher you can spend on the night.
You can also walk up on the night but seating together are not guaranteed and places are first come first served.
Book tickets on the link here.
There is an old school intermission in this film and it’s a dementia friendly screening with film notes if needed.
