Tron (Original)

We are very excited to screen Tron (the 1982 original) at one of our favourite outdoor venues: Herne Hill Velodrome.

A computer hacker is abducted into the digital world and forced to participate in gladiatorial games (including a bike race!) where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program. A cult classic from 1982 and one of the first ever films to use CGI. Bring something to sit on, food and drink and whatever you need to stay warm and dry. No glass as it’s the Velodrome.

As part of this year’s Herne Hill Free Film Festival we are pleased to be partnering again with the Norwood and Brixton Food Bank, helping to raise awareness for this most worthy of local causes. We will be collecting food donations and spare change at each of our screenings, so if you can spare any food or money that would be greatly appreciated to help this wonderful charity continue the admirable work.  We will be tweeting information about urgently needed items so stay tuned on Twitter to @HerneHillFilm.
