Loosely based on John Updike’s novel, director George Miller masterfully merges menace with comedy. Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon lead as the unwitting sorceresses living in picturesque Eastwick, Rhode Island. John Nicolson is duly summoned in yet another of his iconic performances as the diabolical Daryl Van Horne.
