Experience a rare screening of The Flying Lunar Clipper, an almost-lost animated gem rescued from obscurity after being discovered on a forgotten laserdisc in a charity shop. This vaporware fever dream extends into its very essence – created entirely using 8-bit MSX computers. The film features surreal characters originally designed for MSX Magazine covers, including an onion vampire, a seahorse named Professor Darren, and a banana that looks suspiciously like Tom Selleck, all piloting The Flying Lunar Clipper through a neon-soaked Hawaiian dreamscape.
Complementing this voyage into the weird and wonderful, we present a handpicked selection of even more obscure Japanese animation shorts, followed by a DJ set from Soborgnost.
