Join us for Talking About Trees, a poignant and quietly humorous documentary that follows four veteran Sudanese filmmakers—members of the Sudanese Film Group—as they attempt to reopen a long-abandoned cinema in Khartoum.
As they navigate censorship, crumbling infrastructure, and fading public memory, their passion for cinema shines through, offering a moving reflection on art, resistance, and cultural memory in the face of repression.
A multi-award-winning film and a heartfelt tribute to the power of storytelling and collective hope.
