Scala!!!

In Britain’s post-punk Thatcher years, the legendary Scala cinema showed a diverse range of films, from high art to cult classics. Nudging boundaries of convention, it became an inspiration for future famous creatives.

Scala!!! is an anarchic, uproarious documentary telling the riotous inside story, and we are delighted to have the directors join us for a Q&A to discuss life at the cinema and why it’s a story that needed to be told.

So what better place to screen it than our local cinema down the road in Loughborough Junction. Whirled is one of South London’s best kept secrets so come along and experience a bit of cinematic anarchy for yourself.
