Rocketman (15) + after film party – SOLD OUT
‘Rocketman’ is an epic musical fantasy about the uncensored human story of Sir Elton John’s breakthrough years, starring Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Richard Madden and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Reg grows up in Pinner with his mother Sheila Eileen and grandmother Ivy. He unlocks his gift for songwriting by forging a lifelong creative partnership with Bernie Taupin. Dick James, founder of DJM records, signs Reg and Bernie to the label and nurtures the raw talents as Reg changes his name to Elton John and finds new purpose with manager John Reid. For his fans, Elton dons outlandish costumes but behind the scenes, he wrestles with substance abuse, depression and his sexuality.
