A rare opportunity to spend a half day with Film Producer Alexandra Bently, learning how to bring your film projects together the professional way and get the best results for your latest film creation.

Alexandra began her career in the film industry over a decade ago at Deluxe Digital, before moving onto Theatrical Sales departments of Warner Brothers and later Twentieth Century Fox. Her practical knowledge of the business of film is supported by a First Class Honours Degree in Film and Media from the University of London.
She joined The Philm Company in 2012 and produced THE LAST SHOWING, a $2m psychological thriller, starring Robert Englund (NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET), Emily Berrington (24, HUMANS) and Finn Jones (GAME OF THRONES, THE IRON FIST), which sold to Sony Pictures in the UK, as well as a number of top distributors around the world.

She has also raised a development fund, which allowed for the production of the BAPTISM SPEC TRAILER and purchase of a few options on books and scripts.

In 2014 Alex produced THE FOUR WARRIORS – family action adventure, released by distribution companies, such as Metrodome (UK), Lionsgate (US) in 2015, amongst many others globally. In 2015 she partnered up with Granfalloon’s John and Laura to co-produce a US shot thriller – INDISCRETION, starring Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, Cary Elwes, Christopher Backus and Katherine McNamara.

Her most recent producing credit is a remake of a Disney classic THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS directed by Melissa Joan Hart, starring Oscar winner Anjelica Huston.
When time allows, Alexandra also produces commercials for brands such as McDonald’s, Philips, Unilever and lectures in producing at Met Film, Raindance and Norwich University.
