Following the success of last years ‘Knitflix,’ Woolly Mondays presents Knitflix 2!
The first part of the evening will be a rare chance to see some intriguing archival knitting footage from Pathé films, compered by local award-winning comedy writer and knitter Sarah Dean, with live piano accompaniment from award-winning composer, pianist, knitter and Peckham resident, Oliver Singleton.
After a brief interval we will show Nudinits: Tickled Pink narrated by the Ivy House’s own Hugo Simms.
Nudinits is the world’s first all knitted animation. Nudinits are the quirky inhabitants of Woolly Bush, a village bursting with Britishness and bare bottoms. In a cosy corner of England there are a couple of things the villagers are far too polite to mention. Everyone is naked and there’s a huge double entendre in the room.
