Ida
In 1962, Anna is about to take vows as a nun when she learns from her only relative that she is Jewish. Both women embark on a journey to discover their family story and where they belong.
Critically acclaimed with a superb soundtrack. Ida was the first Polish language film to win an Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2013. See it in the beautiful surrounds of St Margaret The Queen church.
Refreshements and drinks will be available but visitors can also bring a pic nic.
The film is in the main church. This is off Streatham High Road. Several buses stop at the bottom of the road, the church is a few minutes walk away. Streatham Hill Station is also only a 5 minute walk away.
