Hunt for the Wilderpeople
Bring something to sit on and whatever you need to stay warm and dry
The residents of Northfield House are hosting an outdoor screening of New Zealand adventure comedy drama ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’ in one of our beautiful community gardens.
Join us on Sunday 10 September to view this charmingly offbeat film with a free BBQ and drinks.
Ricky (Julian Dennison) is a defiant young city kid who finds himself on the run with his cantankerous foster uncle (Sam Neill) in the wild New Zealand bush. A national manhunt ensues, and the two are forced to put aside their differences and work together in this hilarious heartfelt adventure.
This is an outdoor event so bring warm waterproof clothes. Free event. No booking needed. Arrive early to secure a seat.
VENUE CAPACITY: 70
ABOUT THE VENUE:
In 1980 the residents of Northfield House began to improve the outside spaces of the estate to replace the biodiversity that was lost when the Grand Surrey Canal was closed. Our grounds are now listed as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC).
