In consultation with our contributors and collaborators, out of respect for the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we have decided to cancel this event. Returning to one of the most popular venues in the 13 year history of the Peckham and Nunhead Free Film Festival, this year’s film was chosen by the public and will be presented on Friday, 17th September 2022, 8pm, at Nunhead Cemetery, Linden Grove Nunhead SE15 3LP. This is a bike powered screening with Electric Pedals. Come and pedal to power the film! The people have voted for a screening of Francis Ford Coppola’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula. This adaptation of the original vampire novel, from one of the world’s greatest filmmakers, is grand, operatic, lavish and spellbindingly entertaining, and is sure to make for a great viewing experience in this environment. Restoring the characters nobility, the Count here is played by Gary Oldman, who is from just down the road in nearby New Cross…really! This is an outdoor event so bring warm waterproof clothes. Free event. No booking needed. This screening has a 300 CAPACITY and is first come first served. Please arrive early to secure a space, a queueing system will be in place. This film is 18 certificate, only people that age or older may be admitted. Please note: NO ALCOHOL CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE CEMETERY. |
