A family adventure from the 1950’s with live score performed by Jimmy Lions and an intro by editor and producer, Andy Hague.
This offering was filmed over FIVE consecutive summers from 1957 to 1961. It follows the Robbins family as they attempt to roadtrip in their station wagon around every US state. This is 1950s America and this short showcases the Super-16 cog-whirring genius of an inspired amateur filmmaker. Roll up, lean back and enjoy!

Best friends Inge Wegge and Jørn Ranum decided to put their survival skills to the ultimate test: spending nine months on a remote, uninhabited bay in the Arctic circle. Using nothing but their humour and a few tools they built a cabin out of driftwood and other cast-off materials that washed up on shore, and ate expired food the stores would otherwise have thrown away. But the boys brought with them two items of utmost importance: Their surfboards – perhaps their biggest motivation for the arctic adventure.
