DOUBLE BILL: Mad Max 2/Archeologist of the Wasteland

In the second ‘Mad Max’ film (aka The Road Warrior), ex-cop Max (Mel Gibson) roams a post-apocalyptic landscape alone. Reluctantly taking a pit-stop at a desert-set fortress, he is gradually persuaded to help protect the people inside it and the commodity that makes it a prime target for marauding gangs – fuel.

Screening in a DOUBLE BILL with Archeologist of the Wasteland, a documentary about Adrian Bennett who left England to settle in the Australian desert because of his passion for this film. He set out to discover whether cars from the movie were really buried underground after filming.
