Cycling Shorts

Free (No ticket required - First come first served)
8:00PM (Doors open 7.30pm)
OUTDOOR: Herne Hill Velodrome
Bring something to sit on and whatever you need to stay warm and dry

Now in its third year, the ever popular Cycling Shorts returns to the historic Herne Hill Velodrome. (That’s short films about cycling of course!)  Expect feats of endurance against beautiful backdrops, all told from the perspective of cyclists.

The line-up will include Mind Mapping director Finley Newmark’s latest film, Tour of Tigray. Tigray has long been the heart of Ethiopia’s cycling development, but for two years it was the centre of the civil war. The Tour of Tigray serves as its premier cycling event, featuring eight stages that start and finish in some of the region’s major cities.

The Velodrome will be selling beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks.  If you do bring your own, please no glass. Make sure to bring something warm to wear.

FREE MAKES IT INCLUSIVE, DONATIONS MAKE IT HAPPEN

As part of this year’s Herne Hill Free Film Festival we are pleased to be supporting again the Lambeth & Croydon Food Bank, helping to raise awareness for this most worthy of local causes. Any donations by card or cash at each of our screenings would be greatly appreciated to help this wonderful charity continue its admirable work*
