Join us amongst the greenery of Brayard’s Community Garden (Brayard’s Road Estate) on Saturday, September 7th for the final night of the 2025 edition of the Peckham & Nunhead Free Film Festival with Brazil (1985).

Set in a dystopian future full of bureaucratic nightmares and surreal imagery, Terry Gilliam’s cult classic Brazil is a darkly comic vision of resistance, fantasy, and the absurdity of modern life. It’s an unforgettable cult classic that still resonates today.

This is an outdoor event, so consider bringing along warm, waterproof clothing. Also definitely consider bringing a blanket, something comfortable to sit on, and something to snack on! Free event. No booking needed. Arrive early to secure a spot.

This small community garden near Queen’s Road provides a collective growing space for local residents. With a kids gardening club and weekly gardening sessions where volunteers can help themselves to their produce, this adorable space is a wonderful venue for hosting community social events throughout the year.
