A Boy A Girl And A Bike + ‘Tour de Deptford’ Group Ride
An afternoon of cycling and cinema hosted by London Velo.
Who wouldn’t want to join a bicycle club that counts Honor Blackman and Diana Dors as its members? Brash boy-racer David falls for Sue (Honor Blackman), a Yorkshire gal with a passion for cycling. Before long he’s a paid-up member of the Wakefield Wheelers, pitting him against Sue’s current fiancé. A tale of romance, crime and cycling set against the glorious Yorkshire landscape.
Meet in the cafe for tea/coffee and cakes 12.30, leaving at 1pm for a leisurely group ride around Deptford and Greenwich, returning to Cafe Velo by 4pm. Film 5pm. Suitable for all but you need to be a competent cyclist.
