Our opening night film for this year’s film festival is Spike Lee’s latest joint, the Oscar winning BLACKKKLANSMAN.

Ron Stallworth (John David Washington), an African American police officer from Colorado Springs, CO, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of his Jewish detective partner Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver). Based on actual events.
