Amelie (French with subtitles)

Free (No ticket required - First come first served)
8:00PM (Doors open 7pm)
INDOOR: The Railway

Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s irrepressibly uplifting French romantic comedy come to The Railway bringing a slice of Parisian life to Streatham.

This film follows Amélie, a young woman who discretely orchestrates the lives of the people around her, invoking elements of magical realism to create a world exclusively of her own making.

Shot in over 80 Parisian locations, acclaimed director Jean-Pierre Jeunet shows off his incomparable visionary style and 20 years on from its release, the film is still visually striking, fresh and charming. It left an enduring imprint on popular culture and helped redefine what a romantic comedy could be.

The film will start at 8pm sharp, but we recommend that guests arrive by 7:30pm to ensure they have enough time to collect drinks and snacks or order food from the bar beforehand.

Seating is on a first come first served basis and the film is in French with subtitles.

With thanks to InStreatham, Film London and The Railway.
