On the evening of 8th September 2024, Predator will be set loose upon Brayard’s Community Garden (Brayard’s Road Estate). Souls, clumsy enough to be caught in the vicinity that Sunday evening, are advised to sit still & for a good 107 minutes, & hope for the best. No harm in cowering under a comfy blanket (or alternate cloaking device), either. Extra-terrestrial warrior (is that a spoiler?) hunts down Schwarzenegger and Apollo Creed in a South American jungle. How could this science-fiction-horror-action-adventure not be a classic of 80s cinema? Have you ever watched it out in the wild though?

This is an outdoor event so consider warm waterproof clothing. Also definitely consider bringing a rug & other comfortables to sit on. Free event. No booking needed. Arrive early to secure a spot.

This small community garden near Queen’s Road provides a collective growing space for local residents. With a kids gardening club and weekly gardening sessions where volunteers can help themselves to their produce, this adorable space is a wonderful venue for hosting community social events throughout the year.
