INDOOR: The Ivy House
| Ten years after the Second American Revolution, a diverse coalition of women emerges to blow the System apart after the Black radical founder of the Women’s Army is mysteriously killed. Classic feminist sci fi film shot convincingly in a documentary style.
This film was selected for screening during the festival by the ‘Dancing at the Edge of World’ book group which meets monthly in the Ivy House (usually on the last Monday) to discuss feminist, queer and women-centred science fiction.  The Ivy House (in its current guise) was founded in 2013 after the building was saved by residents and locals from impending residential demolishment. We are lucky to have our home be a Grade-II listed building and the first in London (and possibly the UK) to be listed as an Asset of Community Value.
